ESL Staff Training Programmes

Many of TMA’s employees are from non English speaking backgrounds.  These employees are offered additional training, during work hours, conducted by a TAFE Training Consultant, to develop their English language and literacy skills.

Nordic Environmental Label

Nordic Environment The Nordic Environmental Label or the "Swan Label" is a multinational environmental labelling scheme, guaranteeing strict environmental standards. Manufacturers are encouraged to develop products and production processes better for the environment.

Criteria
The criteria take into account environmental factors through the product's life cycle from raw material, during production and distribution, during use and as refuse, identifying the most important environmental parameters.

TMA’s Purchasing Policy contributes to the preservation of natural timber resources. TMA’s manufacturing process generates no detectable amounts of sulphur, chlorine, nitrogen, or dioxin gases.

TMA endorses Waterless Printing Technology, through the utilisation of UV Print Technology. TMA is dedicated to the reduction and eventual elimination of water in the printing process.
